For over 15 years, Natalie McLarty has been the heartbeat of operations at The Spirit Inn of Mission Valley. As the daughter of owners John and Judy Clegg, Natalie grew up with a deep appreciation for the ranch, its history, and the sense of community it fosters. Today, she carries that same passion into her role as Director, blending tradition with modern hospitality.
Natalie oversees every detail of the guest experience, from managing bookings and scheduling stays to coordinating with trusted vendors including caterers, bartenders, florists, and event planners. Her thoughtful planning ensures that weddings, retreats, and special celebrations at the Inn run seamlessly.
What sets Natalie apart is her personal touch—she’s not just behind the scenes, but actively engaged with couples, families, and guests, ensuring every visit feels special. Whether it’s helping a bride plan her dream wedding, arranging a family reunion under the century-old oak trees, or curating an intimate ranch getaway, Natalie brings professionalism, creativity, and warmth to every interaction.

Saige Mitchell
Carrying forward her family’s legacy, Saige Mitchell represents the next generation of leadership at The Spirit Inn of Mission Valley. As the daughter of Director Natalie McLarty, Saige has grown up surrounded by the Inn’s rich history, timeless charm, and dedication to hospitality. Over the past several years, she has stepped into the role of Assistant Director, where she brings energy, attention to detail, and a fresh perspective to daily operations.
Saige plays a hands-on role in the success of the Inn. From helping with everyday chores and overseeing property maintenance to assisting with scheduling, coordinating guest bookings, and ensuring the grounds are always welcoming, she works tirelessly behind the scenes to keep things running smoothly. Her reliability and strong work ethic make her an integral part of the team.
